Summary

One Piece: Niji no Shima Densetsu landed on the WonderSwan Color in September 2001, bringing the high‑seas chaos of the anime to a pocket‑sized screen. Developed by Tomcat System and published by Bandai, the game leans into fast‑paced action, letting you swing a sword and unleash special moves as you chase down familiar foes. The handheld’s color palette gives the islands a bright, cartoonish feel that mirrors the series’ vibe, while the button layout feels surprisingly intuitive for a device with such limited controls. Even though it never left Japan, the title showcases how the WonderSwan could handle a full‑blown anime adaptation without sacrificing the series’ signature energy.
