Summary

Space Fantasy Zone feels like a love‑letter to two classic arcade hits. Imagine the neon‑bright, scrolling backdrops of Fantasy Zone fused with the forward‑rushing, 3‑D shooter feel of Space Harrier, and you’ve got the visual core of this unreleased title. The game swaps Space Harrier’s one‑hit‑kill mechanic for a modest energy meter, letting you survive a few hits before the screen fades. Between each level you can duck into a shop and spend points to upgrade your blaster, adding a light RPG flavor that the original didn’t have. The result is a fast‑paced, upgrade‑driven sky‑shoot‑‘em‑up that never saw an official launch, but still sparks curiosity among retro fans.
