Summary

Ranma ½: Datou, Ganso Musabetsu Kakutou-ryuu! picks up right where its TurboGrafx‑CD predecessor left off, delivering the chaotic martial‑arts mayhem fans expect from the series. The game strings together fast‑paced fight scenes that feel like stepping into an episode of the anime, complete with voice‑acted cutscenes that capture the show’s over‑the‑top humor. Each bout is framed by animated dialogue, so the battles feel like a natural extension of the cartoon rather than a detached arcade challenge. I love how the developers kept the visual style faithful to the original drawings while still making the combat feel fresh on the CD platform. It’s a solid continuation that lets you relive Ranma’s wild transformations and rivalries without missing a beat.
