Storyline

Fighting Street on the TurboGrafx‑CD follows Ryu, a young Japanese martial artist who enters the international Street Fighter tournament to prove his strength. His former training partner and rival, Ken, also joins the competition to challenge Ryu.

The tournament pits them against a worldwide roster: Japan’s expelled Shorinji Kempo instructor Retsu and the ninja Geki; the United States’ underground karate champion Joe and former heavyweight boxer Mike; China’s boxing expert Lee and veteran assassin Gen; Great Britain’s bouncer Birdie and bodyguard Eagle; and finally Thailand’s Muay Thai master Adon and his mentor Sagat, the “Emperor of Muay Thai,” who serves as the final opponent.
