Summary

Fausseté Amour (sometimes just called "False Love") is a TurboGrafx‑CD adventure that immediately grabs you with its bold visual contrast – a blue‑haired heroine clad in vivid pink armor cutting through a world of muted, eerie backdrops. The game’s structure is built around seven distinct stages, each ending with a showdown that forces you to confront a twisted version of a familiar face before you can restore their true self. The mechanic of battling a “dark side” adds a strategic layer that feels fresh for its era, while the recurring theme of mind‑control gives the action a surprisingly narrative‑driven urgency. All of this is wrapped in a soundtrack that mixes synth‑driven tension with moments of melodic relief, making every level feel both challenging and oddly personal.
