Summary
Bomberman: Panic Bomber (often called Panic Bomber) takes the classic Bomberman universe and turns it into a competitive falling‑block puzzler. Matching three identical blocks clears them and generates a bomb, which you can trigger when a lit bomb drops from the top of the screen. Successfully detonating bombs sends rubble across the divide, forcing your opponent to clear the debris before their field tops out. Building long chains fuels a giant bomb that wipes out a large swath of blocks, turning the tide in a match. The game also offers a two‑player versus mode and a password system for saving progress on the TurboGrafx‑CD.
Storyline
In Bomberman: Panic Bomber’s story mode, the player guides Bomberman on a quest to locate the legendary Golden Bomber statue. Along the way he runs into a quirky cast, including Drifty the balloon and Cecil the tiger, each serving as a unique obstacle. The hunt blends classic puzzle‑bomb action with these memorable character encounters.
