Play Bomberman '94 (Demo) Online

Summary

Bomberman '94 Special Version is a ultra‑rare demo that slipped onto the TurboGrafx‑16 in Japan back in 1993. Hudson Soft pressed just 10,000 copies and handed them out only through their own newsletter and at a single Summer Caravan event, turning the title into a true collector’s curiosity. Because it never saw a retail release outside that tiny promotional run, the game never entered the mainstream market and remains virtually unknown to most Western gamers. The limited distribution means that original cartridges are prized by retro enthusiasts, often fetching high prices on the secondary market. Even though it’s just a demo, the brief glimpse it offers into Bomberman ’94’s mechanics makes it a fascinating footnote in the series’ history.
