Summary

Bakushou Yoshimoto ShinkiGeki on the TurboGrafx‑CD is a quirky tribute to the Osaka‑born comedy troupe behind the TV series Yoshimoto no Shinkigeki. The game populates its screens with pixelated stand‑ins that either mirror the actual TV actors or echo the characters they famously portray. Much like the original sketch show, each level is a self‑contained gag, stringing together absurd, over‑the‑top scenarios that have little to no narrative continuity. The humor leans heavily on slapstick and impossible physics, inviting players to revel in the sheer silliness of each set‑piece. It feels less like a traditional adventure and more like a digital comedy club where the punchlines are interactive.
