Summary

Sadakichi Seven: Hideyoshi no Ougon is a delightfully tongue‑in‑cheek spy caper that lands on the TurboGrafx‑16 (PC Engine) with a wink and a grin. The game leans into its comedic roots, turning classic espionage tropes into over‑the‑top set‑pieces that feel more like a parody than a serious thriller. I love how the pixel art blends period‑Japanese aesthetics with absurd gadgetry, letting you sneak through lacquered corridors while the soundtrack tosses in jaunty, almost cartoonish melodies. Hudson’s publishing stamp guarantees that the quirky humor is matched by solid, responsive controls that keep the action flowing. Even after decades, the title still feels fresh, proving that a good laugh can be the best disguise in any secret mission.
