Storyline

Cyber-Core, the TurboGrafx-16 shooter, is set in the year 2269. To fight back, humanity builds an insect-themed bio-jet named the Chimera, which transforms its pilot into a humanoid insect when activated. The player takes the role of Rad Ralph (called Kato Melange in the Japanese version), the Chimera’s pilot, tasked with striking the Hyper Insects and reclaiming the planet.
