Summary

Blue Blink is a surprisingly charming platformer that grew out of a classic TV anime linked to the legendary Osamu Tezuka. The game is split into distinct areas, each presented as a map screen where you can pick different routes by exiting levels at specific points. Hidden throughout each zone is a "master key" you must locate before the boss door will even appear, which often means blasting at empty space just in case.

What really sets the title apart is its character‑switching mechanic: every stage gives you three heroes to choose from, and the two you don’t control trail behind you like a quirky conga line. Each character brings a unique playstyle—some can leap absurd heights, while others compensate with wide‑spread shot weapons.

Once you’ve secured the master key and reached the end of the area, the game thrusts you onto a donkey for a boss showdown, forcing you to fight your way forward before the next zone opens. It’s a quirky blend of exploration, strategy, and pure retro fun.
