Summary

Zoo-tto Mahjong! (often just called Zootto Mahjong!) is a quirky Nintendo‑produced Mahjong title that landed on the Super Famicom in the summer of 1998. It holds the distinction of being the final Mahjong game Nintendo released for that console, and a special preview even made its way to Satellaview users before the full launch. What sets it apart is the whimsical animal selection screen – you pick a creature to represent you as you match tiles, adding a light‑hearted flair to the classic puzzle. Though the core gameplay sticks to traditional Mahjong rules, the animal avatars and the fact that it was Nintendo’s swan‑song Mahjong effort give it a nostalgic charm for collectors and retro fans alike.
