Summary

We’re Back!: A Dinosaur’s Story on the SNES takes a different route from its Genesis sibling, swapping the movie’s plot for a quirky rescue mission. Professor Screw Eyes has nabbed Louie and Cecilia, prompting Captain Neweyes and the dino crew to hop through a handful of time‑bending stages.

The game plays as a classic side‑scroller where you control Rex, dodging traps and blasting a colorful cast of enemies across five distinct levels. Occasionally, Rex gets backup from his pals—Elsa, Woog, Vorb, and Dweeb—each popping in to lend a hand when the action heats up.

Power‑ups are scattered throughout, boosting and refilling Rex’s health so you can keep the chase going. I love how the time‑travel theme lets the visuals shift while the core gameplay stays tight and nostalgic.
