Summary

War 2410 drops you into a 2003‑era experiment gone sideways, where geneticists’ quest for the perfect soldier birthed three hostile factions: savage Orcs, cyber‑enhanced Cromes, and the M.A.R.S. elite. You command a covert coalition tasked with re‑establishing order across a grid‑based battlefield. Each mission starts with a full roster of units—mechs, tanks, infantry, and aircraft—already positioned, so the challenge is pure tactics, not unit acquisition. Movement ranges and attack arcs differ per class, and some ground troops can’t strike airborne foes, forcing you to balance air and land forces carefully. Terrain isn’t just scenery; forests and buildings grant defensive bonuses, while open plains leave units exposed. Every strike provokes an automatic counter‑attack if the enemy remains in range, turning each engagement into a calculated risk. Victory usually means wiping out the opposition, though a few scenarios demand the capture of enemy bases to complete the objective.
