Storyline

In Vegas Stakes, the player heads to Las Vegas with a modest $1,000 and a dream of turning it into $10 million. Early on a car rolls into the city and the player meets four eager friends—Cliff, Maria, Isabelle, and Richard—who are ready to join the gambling spree.
If the player ever loses all the cash, the game ends with a stark image of a man showing his empty pockets, underscoring the high‑stakes risk. The game even throws in a sneaky pickpocket scenario, where a patron pretends to wipe a spot off the player’s shirt before trying to steal money.
At the conclusion of the Super NES version, the player can type what they plan to do with the winnings. A couple then drives up to a casino bearing the player’s name, and the game declares that the typed wish has come true.
