Summary

Ultra Baseball Jitsumei Ban 2, the fifth entry in Culture Brain’s Ultra Baseball line, stayed a Japan‑only secret on the SNES. Even though it never made it overseas, the game kept the series’ signature “Super League” twist, giving pitchers and batters quirky special abilities that feel more like a fantasy mode than a straight simulation. The title is fully licensed by Nippon Professional Baseball, so every team and player name matches the real 1994 season. For anyone who’s dug through the series, this installment feels like a hidden gem that blends arcade flair with authentic league data, all wrapped in the bright 16‑bit palette of the Super Nintendo.
