Summary

Super Slam Dunk drops you onto a vertical basketball court where only half the action is visible at a time. When the ball crosses the mid‑court line the screen flips, revealing the other half and keeping the pace feeling fast and fresh. The roster packs 28 squads – 27 named after the cities of real‑world pro teams of the era, plus a single all‑star lineup – even though the NBA name never appears. You can jump straight into an exhibition match or fire up the playoff mode, which pits eight chosen teams against each other in a sprint to the championship. Before each game, Earvin “Magic” Johnson offers a quick hype‑up, and once the tip‑off is underway Chick Hearn delivers the play‑by‑play commentary. The settings let you toggle fouls on or off and dial the length of each quarter, giving you full control over how gritty or arcade‑like the experience feels.
