Summary
In Super R-Type you pilot the R‑9, Earth’s most advanced fighter, and can attach the invincible FORCE units that orbit the ship, granting extra firepower and protection. The game spans seven stages, each littered with power‑ups and culminating in bosses lifted straight from the original arcade R‑Type and R‑Type II.
