Summary

Super Putty is a hidden gem where you control a blue blob with a surprisingly versatile move set. You can stretch its limbs to grab bots, inflate for cushioned landings or launch a smart‑bomb, and form a fist for a quick punch. It can also melt into the floor, becoming invulnerable and absorbing enemies. The vertical stages mix regular platforms, electric tiles and bounce pads, forcing creative use of each ability. The timer pushes you to gather a set number of robots and drop them into a saucer or elevator.

The enemy roster reads like a cartoon fever dream, from Terminator carrots to sword‑wielding spacemen and aggressive sausage characters. Power‑ups are equally odd; beyond points and temporary invincibility, you can summon Uncle Ted with his Hammond organ, freezing every foe on screen. Each level also hides a quirky coffee mug that distracts bots, turning a simple rescue into a tactical puzzle. Overall, its colorful visuals and off‑beat humor make Super Putty a quirky side‑scroll experience that feels fresh after all these years.

Storyline

Super Putty takes place on the floating world of Putty Moon, a bright realm that has suddenly fallen under the control of the wicked wizard Dazzledaze. The sorcerer’s scheme is to round up the resident Putties and ship them to Earth, where they will be turned into chewing gum.

Determined to rescue his friends, Billy Putty teams up with a crew of helpful robots. Together they set out to construct a massive skyscraper that will pierce the sky and reach the cursed moon. Their goal is to climb up, confront Dazzledaze and restore Putty Moon to its former cheerfulness.
