Summary

Super Ninja Boy blends classic RPG progression with side‑scrolling beat‑em‑up action, letting one or two players control the ninja duo Jack and Ryu. In co‑op mode the second player can drop in at any convenience store, but the two characters share a single pool of stats, so neither can outshine the other.

When enemies appear, the screen flips into a side‑scrolling battle where you can jump, punch, throw foes, and unleash shurikens, fireballs or a super jump. Breaking bonus boxes adds temporary power‑ups, and the fight ends once a set number of enemies fall.

Boss encounters switch to a menu‑driven, turn‑based system: you issue commands for both ninjas, using the same items and techniques you’ve collected, while the enemy does the same. Victory comes when the opponent’s hit points are drained.

The game also sprinkles in a few platforming sections and a password system for saving progress, plus cameo nods to other Culture Brain titles, giving the experience a nostalgic, cross‑title flavor.
