Summary

Super Nazo Puyo – Lulu no Lu sticks to the classic Puyo Puyo formula: five colors, clockwise and counter‑clockwise rotation, but you can’t double‑rotate or climb. The sequel throws in a new nuisance type called Iron Puyo, which behaves like a stubborn block and shows up in the tougher puzzles.

Each stage hands you a specific goal—clear a certain color, erase all nuisance pieces, hit a chain length, or simply wipe the board. Failing to meet the target drains a health gauge that’s reflected in Arle’s or Rulue’s increasingly distressed faces, and a full depletion ends the game unless you load a save. You can pause and skip a puzzle, but it costs health, so the gauge becomes a strategic resource.

The game offers five distinct modes. Arle’s Roux is the standard route with regular Puyo, while Rulue’s Roux ramps up the challenge by adding Iron Puyo and blocks. Road to Chains is a progressive puzzle gauntlet with no health recovery, Endless Puyo shows six upcoming pieces and throws nuisance Puyo at higher levels, and the Editor lets you craft custom boards and set your own next‑piece sequences.

The Editor feels like the Practice Notebook from Puyo Puyo 7, giving you free placement of pieces and the ability to define the exact task you want to solve, which is perfect for testing out crazy chain ideas or sharing puzzles with friends.
