Summary

Super Caesars Palace drops you straight into a neon‑lit recreation of the real Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, but on a Super Nintendo cartridge. The game packs nine classic casino pastimes—blackjack, roulette, craps, video poker, slot machines, horse racing, keno, red dog and scratch‑off tickets—each with its own difficulty curve and strategy.

You start with $2,000 and can wander between the main floor and a V.I.P. lounge where the stakes climb dramatically, letting you win big or lose it all in a single hand. When cash runs low, an on‑screen ATM lets you withdraw more money, and a password system lets you pick up the action later without losing progress.

Unlike the Japanese version, the North American release populates the casino with talkative NPCs who dish out tips and hints about the high‑roller lifestyle. The $100 scratchcards add a tense gamble: keep scratching for cash, but uncover a bomb and the ticket is void, erasing any winnings.

Critics praised the game’s faithful recreation of casino mechanics, calling it a solid way to learn wagering without a real‑world hit. However, many noted clunky controls that could turn a smooth win into a frustrating loss, resulting in a mixed reception across the board.
