Storyline

Andross makes a dramatic comeback in Star Fox 2, this time wielding two massive super‑weapons: interplanetary ballistic missiles and a swarm of fighters and bombers aimed straight at Corneria. Two members of the Star Fox squad are tasked with defending the planet, breaking into hidden enemy bases, and taking down Andross himself. General Pepper once again summons the team, now equipped with custom Arwings, a Mothership, and two fresh recruits – the lynx Miyu and the aristocratic dog Fay. Their mission expands beyond Corneria: they must destroy Andross’s battleship fleet, giant missiles, and planetary bases while battling colossal bosses and the rival mercenary crew Star Wolf. Star Fox 2 features six playable pilots – Fox McCloud, Falco Lombardi, Peppy Hare, Slippy Toad, Miyu, and Fay – and introduces the Star Wolf lineup of Wolf O'Donnell, Leon Powalski, Pigma Dengar, and Algy.
