Storyline

In the SNES game Speedy Gonzales: Los Gatos Bandidos, a lively fiesta in a tiny Mexican village is abruptly shattered when a gang of cats known as Los Gatos Bandidos swoops in and kidnaps every mouse. Only a nervous mouse named Slowpoke manages to escape the chaos and sends a desperate message to his legendary cousin, the fastest mouse in Mexico—Speedy Gonzales. Answering the call, Speedy follows the Bandidos’ trail across a series of colorful levels, racing to free as many captured mice as he can. Along the way he darts after cheese, dodges natural hazards, and shouts his trademark rally cry, “¡Ariba! ¡Ariba!” as he battles the feline bandits and restores the village’s celebration.
