Storyline

In Sparkster (also known as Rocket Knight Adventures) the peaceful opossum kingdom of Eginasem is suddenly besieged by an army of wolf soldiers—sometimes described as yellow dog troops—who have also kidnapped Princess Flora. The heroic Rocket Knight, Sparkster, must charge through waves of enemy warriors and mechanical foes to rescue the princess and halt the invasion. Adding to the danger, his old rival Axel Gear has defected and now aids the invaders, forcing Sparkster into a personal showdown. The final challenge takes him aboard the enemy battleship, where the ruthless Generalissimo Lioness plans to fire a warhead that would obliterate the entire planet. Defeating Axel Gear and stopping Lioness’s weapon are the only ways to save Eginasem and its inhabitants.
