Summary

The SNES title SOS drops you into the frantic decks of a early‑20th‑century ocean liner that’s been smashed by a sudden storm. You can pick from a handful of crew members, each with a slightly different sprite, and must sprint through shifting, flood‑laden corridors as the ship pitches and slowly fills with water. The core goal is simple but relentless: locate trapped passengers and guide them to the few remaining safe zones before the rising tide seals their fate. Environmental hazards—collapsing doors, submerged passageways, and ever‑increasing water levels—keep the tension high, forcing you to plan routes on the fly. Although the premise reads like a classic rescue puzzle, the frantic timing and limited view turn every rescue into a breath‑holding sprint. Released for the Super Nintendo in 1993, SOS still feels like an intense, atmospheric scramble against the clock.
