Play Smash Tennis Online

Summary

Smash Tennis feels like a love‑letter to classic arcade tennis, borrowing the timing‑based swing system that Namco honed in World Court Tennis. Instead of a story mode, the game drops you straight into a tournament where each match is a single set, pushing you to clinch the Grand Slam with razor‑sharp focus. The roster of twenty athletes—mixing men and women—each brings a distinct blend of power, speed or control, so picking the right character becomes a subtle strategy before you even step onto the court. Though the original SNES launch stayed in Europe, the title finally resurfaced for North America as part of the Nintendo Switch Online service in 2020, letting a new generation experience its crisp 16‑bit courts and tight, button‑timed rallies.
