Summary

Shin SD Sengokuden – Daishougun Retsuden is a quirky strategy title that landed on the Super Nintendo in Japan back in 1995. Developed and published by the little‑known studio Bec, the game mixes the over‑the‑top mecha aesthetic of the SD Sengokuden line with turn‑based board‑like tactics.
Players command a roster of stylized commanders across a grid, positioning units to capture key points while managing limited moves. The visual style is bright, cartoonish, and unmistakably retro, giving the battle a playful vibe despite the strategic depth. Though it never saw an official Western release, the game has become a hidden gem among collectors who appreciate its blend of humor and tactical challenge.
