Summary

Undake 30: Same Game (often just called Same Game) landed on the Super Famicom in 1995 as a Mario‑themed twist on the classic tile‑matching puzzle. The board is a crowded grid of Mario heads, coins, Yoshi eggs, Fire Flowers and Super Mushrooms; select any cluster of two or more identical icons and they vanish, letting everything above drop and columns slide together. Hudson Soft let you play with the standard controller or the Super Famicom mouse, and the handy undo feature lets you backtrack moves as far as you like—perfect for those moments when a single stray block ruins a perfect clear. Although the game never left Japan, the interface is entirely in English, and its Monte Carlo‑style mechanics feel familiar to anyone who’s ever tried a Same Game clone. Clearing the whole grid ends the round, rewarding you with a tidy, colorful board and a satisfying sense of completion.
