Storyline

Set in a stylized Far‑East world, *Pocky & Rocky* follows a young shrine maiden named Pocky – known in Japan as Sayo‑chan – as she tends to her Shinto shrine. One day she is visited by Rocky, a mischievous tanuki (raccoon dog) called Manuke, who belongs to a quirky band of creatures called the Nopino Goblins.

The Nopino Goblins are Yōkai that once fell into madness, only to be healed by Pocky in a previous adventure. Rocky warns her that the goblins have slipped back under a strange spell, and they are suddenly ambushed by the very same creatures. Together, Pocky and Rocky set out to discover who is pulling the strings behind the chaos.

Along the way they battle a host of Japanese‑mythology monsters, including the water‑dwelling kappas, as they work to free the Nopino Goblins and restore peace to their mystical realm.
