Summary

Nichibutsu Arcade Classics 2 – Heiankyou Alien brings the beloved 1979 arcade shooter to the SNES with a tidy upgrade. The collection not only refines the graphics and sound but also tucks the original version right alongside the new build, so you can flip between the classic feel and the polished remake at will. It’s a neat nod to the era when pixel‑perfect alien swarms first challenged arcade goers, now wrapped in a cartridge that feels surprisingly fresh. For anyone who loves digging into retro archives, the dual‑mode setup makes it easy to compare the old‑school quirks with the smoother, more responsive controls of the updated edition.
