Summary

Motteke Oh! Dorobou, a quirky Miscellaneous title from Data East, slipped onto the SNES shelves in Japan back in 1995. Though it never saw an official Western release, the game’s off‑beat premise and colorful sprite work have turned it into a hidden gem among collectors. I’m always struck by how Data East packed a surprisingly varied set of mechanics into a single cartridge, blending puzzle elements with light‑hearted action. Its rarity outside Japan makes it a frequent subject of import‑only discussions, and spotting it at a retro‑gaming swap feels like uncovering a secret level.
