Summary

Little Magic on the Super Famicom feels like a fresh spin on classic Sokoban puzzles. You guide May through cramped rooms, plotting a route for a single sliding block while avoiding dead‑ends that would trap both her and the block. The twist is May’s limited magic: she can plant up to five timed bombs, each one giving the block a single shove when it detonates. Timing becomes a second layer of strategy, as you decide where to drop a bomb and how long to wait before it explodes. When the magic runs low, May can still nudge the block herself, but only from an adjacent square, forcing you to think several moves ahead. The blend of careful path‑finding and bomb‑placement makes every level feel like a tiny, tense brain‑teaser, and the simple yet charming visuals keep the focus squarely on the puzzle.

Storyline

In Little Magic, the player follows May, a trainee witch who must pass her final exam at the academy before she can graduate. The test consists of a series of block‑pushing puzzles in which May uses her magic to move each block into its proper spot. Each stage requires careful positioning and timing, turning simple magic into a strategic challenge. The goal is to clear all the blocks and prove she is ready to become a fully‑fledged witch.
