Summary
Kid Klown in Crazy Chase throws you into a frantic race against a ticking bomb fuse. From an isometric viewpoint, you dash through each of the five stages, hunting down four hidden card‑suit orbs before the fuse catches up. The fuse starts right where you do, so speed and careful route‑planning are essential; miss a card and you’re sent back to the beginning for another try. Along the way, you dodge Blackjack’s devious traps while trying to keep the fuse from reaching the spade bomb at the level’s end. After you stop the bomb and collect a key, the fifth stage forces you to pick the correct lock out of ten, freeing Princess Honey and revealing one of three possible endings—good, average, or bad—depending on whether you’ve gathered all five Honey hearts and avoided continues.
Storyline
Kid Klown in Crazy Chase (often just called Kid Klown: Crazy Chase) follows the titular clown on a frantic rescue mission. Princess Honey has been kidnapped by the villain Black Jack—known as Dirty Joe in the Japanese SNES release—and he threatens to detonate a spade‑shaped bomb. Kid Klown must race along a lit fuse, chasing the bomb down before it explodes and freeing Honey. The game offers three possible conclusions: a good ending appears when the player collects all five Honey hearts and saves her without using a continue; an average ending occurs if Honey is rescued but not all hearts are gathered or a continue is taken; a bad ending results when Honey is not saved at all.
