Summary

Kawasaki Superbike Challenge (known in Europe as Kawasaki Superbikes) rides on the same engine that powered the Genesis title F1, but swaps cars for two‑wheeled thrills. The game offers fourteen standard circuits plus the grueling Suzuka 8‑Hours endurance race, and you can tackle them in either a training session or a full‑blown championship.

A Turbo mode lets you crank the pace at the cost of some visual polish, while a weather toggle adds rainy conditions that darken the screen and sap traction. You can set each race to five, ten or fifteen laps and choose from four skill levels, and the bike’s handling has been tweaked to feel more like a motorcycle than a car, complete with extra polygonal roadside objects that weren’t in the original F1.

Critics weren’t kind to the SNES version; Next Generation gave it a single star, complaining that the flat‑shaded polygons clutter the view, the first‑person angle hides the road, and the controls feel sluggish, leaving the sense of speed painfully thin.
