Summary

The Super Nintendo version of Jimmy Connors Pro Tennis Tour brings the 1992 DOS/Amiga/Atari ST experience onto a 16‑bit console. As the third entry in Blue Byte’s Pro Tennis Tour line, it lets you step into the shoes of the legendary American champion, who held the world‑number‑one spot for a record 159 weeks and amassed eight Grand Slam titles. You face sixteen professional opponents across the world’s most prestigious courts, learning each rival’s quirks while polishing your own game with five specialized coaches who train your lob, volley, forehand, backhand, net play and serve. The mode supports solo play, a two‑player showdown, or up to three CPU challengers, and the graphics and sound were praised at the time for feeling surprisingly realistic. An 8‑bit spin‑off called Jimmy Connors Tennis arrived a year later, but the SNES version remains the definitive way to experience Connors’ aggressive style on a home console.
