Play Herakles no Eikou IV - Kamigami Kara no Okurimono Online

Summary

Herakles no Eikou IV – Kamigami Kara no Okurimono, often shortened to Glory of Heracles IV: Gift from the Gods, lands squarely as the fifth entry in the franchise but only the fourth main‑line title, arriving on the Super Famicom just after the handheld spin‑off Ugokidashita Kamigami. Its October 21, 1994 debut in Japan placed it among the last wave of 16‑bit adventures before the console era shifted. The game puts you in the shoes of a young man whose spirit has been ripped from his body, turning the usual action‑RPG formula into a quest for self‑recovery. Notably, famed scenario writer Kazushige Nojima also directed the title, lending his narrative flair to the experience. A 2008 Virtual Console re‑release gave modern players a chance to revisit this quirky, spirit‑bound journey.

Storyline

In Herakles no Eikou IV – Kamigami Kara no Okurimono (commonly shortened to Herakles no Eikou IV), you assume the role of a young man whose spirit has been separated from his body. The plot is a loose mash‑up of Greek myth, centering on the lost city of Atlantis and the legendary Pandora’s Box.

You team up with two friends, Plato and Epipha, who hail from Atlantis. Their professor has been obsessed with discovering a way to achieve everlasting life, and a sudden, reality‑shattering event forces you to investigate. Along the way you’ll cross paths with Heracles himself, the pantheon of gods, and the very concepts of life and death.

The adventure takes you across a boat, a saba, a submarine, and even the winged Pegasus. You’ll descend into the Underworld, dive beneath the sea, and soar up to the heavens, all while trying to unravel the mystery and aid Heracles in his own quest.
