Summary

Hebereke's Popoon feels more like a Dr. Mario puzzle than a classic Tetris drop‑in. You line up colored blocks in groups, watching the screen fill and clear as you match colors. The eight quirky characters each bring a unique twist to the mechanics, giving the same core puzzle a fresh flavor each time you play.

In single‑player mode you start locked into Hebereke, battling the mischievous Oh‑Chan. Defeat her and the next round opens a choice between Hebereke and Oh‑Chan against Sukezaemon, and the roster keeps expanding until you’ve unlocked every character. Each match is a single round, but a continue lets you jump back in after a loss.

Two‑player action drops the lock‑in entirely—both gamers can pick any of the eight characters right away, and matches are decided over a best‑of‑three. A handy handicap slider (1‑5) lets you dial the difficulty up or down, making the game as casual or as challenging as you like.
