Play F-1 Grand Prix - Part II Online

Summary

F-1 Grand Prix Part II, often just called F‑1 Grand Prix II, is a top‑down racing title that lets you steer a Formula One car from a bird’s‑eye perspective. The game’s soundtrack is anchored by “Truth,” a smooth jazz‑fusion track from the Japanese band T‑Square, which adds a surprisingly cinematic feel to the laps. While the arcade version debuted alongside the earlier 1991‑season release, the Super Nintendo version stayed exclusive to Japan, complete with Fuji Television’s Formula One branding that mirrors the real‑world broadcast look. Video System both developed and published the game, extending their early‑90s run of officially licensed F1 titles that covered the 1991, 1992 and even a 1993 season—though the latter never made it to the arcade. For anyone who enjoys retro racing with a crisp overhead view and a dash of authentic TV flair, this hidden gem is worth a look.
