Summary

Shutokō Battle '94 Drift King is a Japan‑only Super Famicom racer that lets you hop behind the wheel of a stock car and tear through a mix of highways, race tracks, a driving school and even winding tōge courses. The game offers two ways to play: a scenario mode that strings together a series of challenges, and a practice mode for pure time‑trial thrills. Published by Bullet‑Proof Software, it kicked off the long‑running Shutokō Battle series, which later resurfaced overseas as Tokyo Xtreme Racer and Tokyo Highway Challenge. The title’s subtitle pays homage to Keiichi Tsuchiya, the legendary “Drift King” whose real‑world street‑racing pedigree inspired the whole concept.
