Summary

Cameltry, known to many SNES owners as *On the Ball*, turns the simple act of rolling a ball into a mind‑bending puzzle. Instead of steering the sphere, you rotate the entire maze around it, racing against a ticking clock while dodging breakable bricks and bumpers. The SNES version even supports the Super NES Mouse, letting you spin the walls with a flick of the wrist.

The original arcade ran on Taito’s F1 hardware and borrowed the optical rotary controller first seen in *Arkanoid*. Its clever design paid off – *Game Machine* listed it as the eleventh most‑successful table arcade unit in Japan in May 1990, proving that rotating mazes could capture a crowd.

Since then the concept has bounced across platforms: a 2005 DS remake titled *Mawashite Koron* (released abroad as *Labyrinth*), appearances in the *Taito Legends* compilations, iOS and Zune ports, and recent re‑releases on Antstream, the Switch’s *Taito Milestones 4*, and the *Arcade Archives* series for modern consoles.
