Play BS Lord Monarch Online

Summary

The game later resurfaced as BS Lord Monarch, a special broadcast that reached only Japanese players through the Super Famicom’s Satellaview add‑on. This satellite‑based service let Nintendo stream games directly to consoles, turning a typical cartridge title into a timed, downloadable experience. Because the transmission was limited to the Satellaview network, the BS version never saw a physical release outside Japan. It remains a quirky footnote in retro gaming history, illustrating how Nintendo experimented with early digital distribution long before modern online stores.
