Summary

America Ōdan Ultra Quiz, often shortened to America Oudan Ultra Quiz, is a Japan‑only series of quiz‑style video games that borrow directly from the TV show of the same name. The original program aired on Nippon Television, and the games translate the broadcast’s fast‑paced trivia format into a home‑console experience. Each entry in the series sticks closely to the show’s structure, challenging players with a mix of geography, pop culture, and general knowledge questions that mirror the televised rounds. Because the titles never left Japan, they remain a curious footnote for retro collectors outside the country, offering a glimpse of how Japanese TV game shows were adapted for the Super NES era.
