Summary

Wanted (募集) is a fast‑paced shoot‑em‑up that only works with the Sega Light Phaser, turning the Master System into a little Wild West arcade. You play as a lone sheriff tasked with clearing towns of bandits, but the game forces you to think before you pull the trigger – shooting civilians or surrendering foes instantly chips away at your health. Hidden bombs litter the scenery; detonating one wipes out enemies and even restores a bit of life, adding a strategic layer to the frantic action. Each round culminates in a showdown with a bandit leader, giving the usual boss‑fight thrill. Oddly, some early copies shipped with a misprinted cover that mistakenly advertised the unrelated title Cloud Master, making those editions a quirky collector’s item.

Storyline

In Wanted for the Sega Master System, you play as a Western sheriff roaming the American Old West. The game pits you against bandits in a series of gunfights across varied locations, while you also work to protect innocent civilians.
