Storyline

Phantasy Star follows Alis, a young woman from the Algol star system, as she vows to avenge her brother Nero’s death at the hands of the tyrant King Lassic. The system comprises three worlds—lush Palma, barren Motavia, and icy Dezoris—each visited as Alis gathers a party of allies: the cat‑like Myau, the warrior Odin, and the esper Noah. Together they hunt for mystical weapons and armor, confront Lassic in his floating castle, and ultimately defeat him. After the battle an ethereal voice directs the group back to Motavia, where they discover a deeper menace, the Dark Falz, and destroy it as well. With both threats eliminated, peace returns to Algol, fulfilling Alis’s quest for revenge and restoration.
