Summary

Buggy Run lets you tear around fifteen championship tracks in a pseudo‑3D dune‑buggy sprint, with four extra courses unlocked for head‑to‑head play. In single‑player you can choose from Race, Vs Com, Freerun or Battle, each offering a slightly different spin on the core off‑road challenge.

Before each race you pull into the garage with a $20,000 bankroll and can outfit your buggy with better tyres, a faster engine, stiffer suspension, sharper steering or a higher‑gear transmission – each upgrade jumps from level 2 at $10k, to level 3 at $30k, and tops out at $50k, and you don’t have to buy them in order. For a tactical edge you can spend $5k on a rear‑mounted mine, another $5k on a short‑burst Nitoro boost, or $10k to expand your special‑item slots from two up to six, with items firing in the order you slot them.

When you switch to two‑player mode the view flips to a compact top‑down 2D track, and you can literally battle your opponent while racing. The circuits span four distinct environments – lush green, watery, snowy and even molten magma – keeping each run feeling fresh.
