Summary

Yang Warrior Family, the casual name for Yīmén Yīngliè Yángjiā Jiāng, is a quirky relic from the 1990s that slipped onto the Mega Drive without any official license. The game was cobbled together by Taiwan’s Sanxun Information Co., a studio that never made a big splash outside its home market, yet managed to push a full‑blown beat‑'em‑up onto the Genesis hardware. Its unlicensed status gave it a raw, almost bootleg feel—pixel art that leans heavily on classic martial‑arts tropes and a soundtrack that sounds like it was ripped straight from a late‑80s arcade cabinet. For collectors, the title is a conversation starter, a reminder that the 16‑bit era was full of hidden gems that never saw mainstream distribution.

Storyline

In Yang Jia Jiang (Unl), the story begins with the murdered spirit of Emperor Sung pleading his case before the Court of Heaven, seeking divine justice. The deities, moved by his appeal, descend to the mortal realm to aid the Liao in their struggle against the Sung Empire.

Meanwhile, the Yang family is tasked with crushing the Liao troops, but hidden traitors betray them, leading to a crushing defeat. Undeterred, Yang's warriors rally once more, ready to confront the very gods who have intervened in the conflict.
