Summary

Ya Se Chuanshuo (亞瑟傳説), sometimes called Di Guo Wang Zhao (帝國王朝), is a 1995 RPG that landed on the Sega Mega Drive despite being an unlicensed effort from Taiwanese studio Chuanpu. The game was distributed by Ming Super Chip in two nearly identical packages: the “Imperial Dynasty” edition, which sports a Chinese subtitle on the title screen, and the “The Story of Arthur” edition, which swaps that for English text. Aside from this superficial swap, the gameplay, graphics, and story remain the same across both releases. A niche strategy guide was also printed, offering tips for navigating the game’s classic turn‑based battles. Even today, collectors prize these dual versions for their rarity and the quirky glimpse they provide into 1990s bootleg console culture.
