Summary

Xiao Monv: Magic Girl (often just called Magic Girl) is a quirky, unlicensed shoot‑'em‑up that slipped onto the Sega Mega Drive in the early ’90s. The game lets you hold the A button for a rapid‑fire barrage, while the B button drops a limited‑stock bomb—its count is displayed as a little star in the HUD. The function of the C button is a mystery, adding a hint of curiosity to the control scheme. Power‑ups and shields drift down from yellow clouds, giving you a chance to recover as you weave through the chaos. Unlike most shooters that kill you in one hit, Magic Girl features a health meter that depletes with each hit, only costing a life when it finally runs out.
