Play World of Illusion - Fushigi na Magic Box Online

Summary

World of Illusion – Fushigi na Magic Box lets you slip into the shoes of Mickey or Donald, either solo or hand‑in‑hand with a friend. The two‑player mode feels like a tiny choreography: you can stand on each other’s shoulders, swing on ropes, and even have Mickey pull Donald through gaps that would otherwise be impassable. Each cleared boss grants a new spell, from a soaring magic carpet to an underwater air bubble, which instantly reshapes how you explore the next stage.

The five main realms—Enchanted Forest, Among the Clouds, Underwater Adventure, The Library, and The Magic Box—are peppered with Disney‑inspired set‑pieces, from Snow White’s forest glades to Alice‑in‑Wonderland card soldiers. The soundtrack and animation borrow heavily from classic films like Fantasia and The Little Mermaid, giving the game a nostalgic, storybook vibe.

Critics praised the graphics as the best Disney had seen on the Genesis, and while some noted the single‑player experience can feel easy, the cooperative chaos earned it a perfect 10 from Bad Influence! and a spot on GamesRadar’s top‑25 Genesis list.

Storyline

In World of Illusion – Fushigi na Magic Box, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck are rehearsing a magical act when they stumble upon a mysterious box. The box belongs to the evil magician Pete, who whisks the duo away to a fantastical realm where they must join forces to escape.

Throughout the adventure the pair perform dazzling tricks, wield an enchanted cape, and travel on a floating magic carpet across bright skies, trek through a towering forest, and dive beneath the sea inside a protective bubble. Their ultimate goal is to defeat the crafty sorcerer and find a way back home.
